A Y-strainer is a pipeline filtration device that removes unwanted particles from fluid flowing through a system. SUNLIGHT manufactures cast and fabricated Y-strainers in stainless steel CF8/CF8M/CF3M and carbon steel WCB, suitable for oil, gas, water, steam and chemical media. The Y-shaped body directs flow through a perforated or wire-wound screen that captures debris while maintaining low pressure drop.
